6th Nov 2011, Festive of Sacrifice "Eidul Adha" is being greeted with a lot enthusiasm by all Muslims all over the world. A day before that was the day of Wukuf at Arafah where Muslims who are not performing Haj in Mecca are encourage to fast during that day.
Muslims worldwide gather for communal prayers on the first day of Id al-Adha (Eid-ul-Adha)the last month of the Muslim year. This is the second of the two major Muslim annual holidays. In most areas, this event is celebrated over several days.

Malaysian Embassy in Moscow
On the day of Arafah, 5th Nov (9 ZulHihjjah) , T and her friends celebrated the day by preparing a variety of Malaysian food and dishes in Dom 39 beside performing fasting on that day.. On the next day ie. Eidul Adha, they went to Malaysian Embassy to perform solat Eidul Adha and participating in the event organized by the embassy for Malaysian staying all over Moscow in particular.

Even though we missed T very much as this is the first ever she was away from us during this kind of festive event but I am glad she has been comfortably managed her life among great friends in a foreign land and culture as I have experienced myself many many years back as a student in UK.
